Healthy Oil

We have been seeing in our home that most of our mother’s use a refined oil or Desi ghee in cooking.

So most of us continue using these two types of oils instead of the other very essential oils, which are way too useful in cooking different types of dishes.

Actually for every dish you make there is a particular oil meant for it, which actually makes the dish more tastier, healthier and aromatic.

So we’ll see the different types of oil:

  • Canola
  • Corn
  • Olive
  • Peanut
  • Safflower
  • Soybean
  • Sunflower

Blends or combinations of these oils, often sold under the name ‘vegetable oil’ and cooking sprays made from these oils are also good choices. Some specialty oils, like avocado, grape seed, rice bran and sesame, can be healthy choices but may cost a bit more or be harder to find.
